Interest in the usage of renewable energy has grown immensely especially in the north and east of Europe. Many European countries have made vast funds available, for the conversion to these new resources.

The trade fair Energy Europe will meet the Scandinavian and eastern European industries but also their governing bodies, opening up trade with the booming Wind – Solar and Bio-energy markets.

"In Denmark we going through a green transition. The Energy Agreement provides the framework for this in 2020, and the government's vision is a Denmark that is free of fossil fuels by 2050. On the way, we need innovative solutions, and we must show that green energy is equal to green growth. A platform as Energy Europe is valuable in relation to exchanging ideas, solutions and new technologies - both nationally and across borders, and to create discussions on how we can achieve our goals. It is very value added for the green transition."
